I am a respiratory therapist (usually in pediatrics, but I’ll play with adults too), but I hope to upgrade soon. If I had unlimited time and resources, I’d like to be a pilot, professional photographer, world traveler, and professional volunteer.

I have lived most of my life in South Carolina, but have lived in North Carolina as well as Virginia and Tennessee for short periods. I have done volunteer work of some kind since I was in high school. Sometimes it was at a nursing home or women’s shelter; other times it was at animal shelters or teaching English as a second language.
I have always been drawn to medicine as a career and although I got somewhat sidetracked early on in my academic career, I am back on track, finally, and I am excited to keeping on moving one step at a time toward my ultimate goal.
