Some things I have learned and one thing I have not:

A little over one month into my great adventure this is what I have learned:

1– It is harder than one may think to pee while standing up while riding a bus through the Andes mountains at ridiculously fast speeds.
2– Arriving into a new town in the morning sucks, but not half as bad as arriving into a new town at night. Basically arriving into a new town sucks.
3– I realize that as a foreigner, I am paying more for just about everything. Just do not make me pay more than the posted price. I will have something to say about that.
4–While I have seen a “Whopper King”, “Pollo Kentuky 2″, Mister Pollo, and Pizza Palace, I have yet to see McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, or Pizza Hut–which is not entirely a bad thing.
5– I really can sleep just about anywhere.
6– Hot water is not overrated.

and this is the one think I have not–
7– Why in the name of everything that is holy, do places that never get above 70 degrees feel the need to run the AC on “arctic?” and why in places that it never gets below 70 degrees or 70% humidity never even heard of AC.
